AUT 8 - St. Florian with Florian and Florian

Flo joined me for a daytrip to upper Austria. It suggested itself to go to St. Florian where our patron saint was drowned in the Enns. Great story. However, he is quite famous whreever there is a spot on the map above.

An Australian tourist group. The beige man's swiss banker is called Florian, too.

Florian, St. Florian, Florian.

The emperors hall; qite baroque, quite impressive.

A kind of hotel for the gentry and the pope only.

Renaissance styled staircase.

the church. Very impressive, especially the organ, where Anton Bruckner was practicing and performing. Impressive sound.

St. Florian, Florian, Florian.

Skulls and bones.

One for the Austrians Project. (AP from now on.)

Flo the knight in another museum, full of Upper Austrian farmer's furniture. Today i go to Linz, which is the cultural capital of Europe. Hopefully the weather is better i am looking forward to some street photography.
