perchten

Each year in November and early December, (rural) Austria is hauted by men dressed as demons called Perchten. Perchten are the bad companions of the Nikolaus, who is not featured here, but looks similar to Santa Clause.
















in the coming week we will get out into the world again: i finally scanned my analoge images, and it was well worth the 17 hours it took. I think i will start with Istanbul street, b/w, taken with the Hasselblad.
