meidling
It is always nice when a streetshoting afternoon starts with one of those rare moments that are quite hard to explain. i knew these guys were observing me while i was approaching and when i finally passed their bench the guy in white asked: what do you do with the cam? me: taking pictures. he: pics of what? me: of you for example. within a tenth of a second he jumped up, and he made the others jump, too. weird situation, but fun.
those two were dressed exactly the same. they even had the same drink.
i found this scenery quite nice. the small girl really wanted to get photographed. check the 100%crop underneath this image.
some random pissing dog
flowers and a cool guy
yes, we still are in Meidling, Vienna
i found this door remarkable, and this friendly fella definitely wanted to get photographed, so i combined the two.
HCB style.
Business case. the girl on top really looked ill.
random forms.
this whole area would be a very nice shooting location.
i only wished the focal point was on her face
and then i found a tabletennis venue in Margharethen.

Stunning! HCB in Meidling?! Never knew that he actually was there. Has he read my remark on the spiral staircase picture? ;-)
Can't wait for Brigittenau! Eventhough I'd quite walk around there like Ropert Capa - it takes a lot of guts. (I should know it since I once lived there.)
Go on, Flo
quote : it takes a lot of guts... the more i shoot of these street images the more i find out that you really have to leave your comfort zone in order to get lively pics that are actually worth taking. i find it hard too, but i think you constantly have to push your own borders in order to get "good" when it comes to streetphotography. thanks for commenting flo.
You're welcome! Oh, how true: Leave your comfort zone - enter the combat zone! Or as Capa once explained: "If your pictures aren't good enough, you are not close enough."
Greets, Flo
you know, he died on this principle...
